The future of Walla Walla

There's no need to panic folks. The only thing ruining Walla Walla was the booming housing industry. Now that America's wake up call is here, things will start going back to normal in Walla Walla. The people who have brought their money in from Seattle to WW in the past 8 years are not sincere about living in WW, they just want to play and make money.

But those times of false dreams are over. 9  out of 11 found this valuable. Do you?

Last time I checked, it was the citizens of Walla Walla who were making a killing selling their old, used, houses for twice fair market value. The people who are complaining are the ones who sold their homes too early and now can't afford to get another one. LOL

The people who are now making money are the builders. There's way too many of them, and quite a few of them shouldn't be allowed to build a dog house. BUT, since most of the locals know who the bad ones are, then you can feel good knowing that they are taking tons of money from the out-of-towners and selling them a sub-par product. (Hmmm, for some reason that doesn't make me feel as good as it should.....) 8  out of 8 found this valuable. Do you?

From what I see, the slumlords are making a killing with the housing boom. Who in their right mind would pay $425/month for only 400 sq. ft.? Might as well buy a house! Walla Walla needs to build up the westside of town so it doesn't look like a slum. Eastgate has tons of money for their fancy, smooth roads but heading out on Rose is pathetic on the west side. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
