Stop taxing the home owners. Everytime something needs repaired or fixed the city wants to tax us. Make the city departments more cost efficient. There is too much city goverment waste. The city needs to do more maintenance projects and be cost effective. It's easier to ask for more money than doing a project with what you already have. Let the wine industry people that are building these huge wine tasting buildings support community projects.

As a homeowner whose property has increased in value by 76% in the 3 years I've ownedit, I'm also concerned about property taxes. Not only should the city be more cost efficient, but so should the school districts and other government entities. Maintenance is the key - why wait to replace something when you can repair it cheaper? That's something homeowners have known for a long long time - probably because our taxes are so high that we can't afford to replace it! 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?
