As a homeowner whose property has increased in value by 76% in the 3 years I've ownedit, I'm also concerned about property taxes. Not only should the city be more cost efficient, but so should the school districts and other government entities. Maintenance is the key - why wait to replace something when you can repair it cheaper? That's something homeowners have known for a long long time - probably because our taxes are so high that we can't afford to replace it!
